The historic cabin, being perched right on the edge of the river ledge, has terrific sky-viewing. This particular storm was particularly nasty looking, and took down trees just north of here. PS: It has been an active weather month! I have a weather radio in my cabin, set to transmit a loud alarm and broadcast alerts from the National Weather Service and I’ve been woken up by it (or startled, while working) many times this month!
