Of the Orebody it is writ –
She sparkles, hidden in plain sight, cloaked in precincts of sulfides, in rusty stanzas, in fresh-fallen snow and hidden vugs, in precipitates of ancient shallow seas; she is mineral ripe for extraction yet unyielding, seamed into sediments, heavily reworked, fossiliferous, rare earth, ferrous and nonferrous, free verse’d, faulted, a blank slate.
Or as Nennius put it in the 9th century (“coacervavi omne quod inveni”) –
“I have made a heap of all that I could find.”
