Sometimes, a lovely mirrored reflection is just a lovely mirrored reflection, as Freud would say. Other times, it causes tons of sunlight-saturated sediments of the Eocene-Oligocene to become timeless and suspended, defying laws of gravity, like one of Magritte’s paintings, where a castle or a great boulder floats in the sky like a cloud.
